Last Tuesday, Bryce Harper, outfielder of Philadelphia Phillies returned to Nationals Park in Washington  to howling shirts & boos which spelled out “T-R-A-I-T-O-R”. However, the last laugh was for former Nationals slugger.

Harper worth$330 million after signing a 13-year contract with Phillies struck in his first at-bat out against pitcher Max Scherzer.

Roars of Joyous erupted from home crowd after his eventual whiff on an 85 mph change up.

Harper guttural boos of his earlier plate appearances out by smacking a 458-foot two-run homer into second deck that punctuate moment with an epic bat fliping direction of former dugout which put Phillies ahead 8-2 that could be final score.

The homer topped a 3-for-5 night off for Harper who had three RBI. Harper doubled Scherzer off in fifth in his first two at-bats signaling in a run off Matt Grace lefty in sixth.

Fans regaled him with chants of “We got Harper!” & “M-V-P!”.

“Emotional day. You’re coming back here, where you’ve spent seven seasons of your career, and try to just go about it the right way and play your game and not worry about your surroundings and things like that. Just trying to soak it all in and soak it up a little bit and enjoy the day”
