Storm Ingrid is set to hit several departments in Brittany on Friday, bringing heavy rain, strong winds and high waves. Some towns are already dealing with flooding, while others are preparing for rising water levels as conditions worsen through the day.

Meteo-France issued an orange wind warning for Finistere from 10:00 am on Friday. Gusts could reach 130 km/h along the coast. Rainfall is expected to total between 20 and 40 mm.

In Quimperle, quays in the town centre were flooded again on Friday morning. Firefighters evacuated around a dozen residents on Thursday. In Saint-Guenole, many boats stayed in harbour. Strong gusts rocked parked cars, and the local market was cancelled.
