Young’s way to glory
It’s been quite a month for Memphian and former Mitchell High star Thaddeus Young.
First, Thaddeus signed a three year, $41-million-dollar contract to member the Chicago Bulls and now, Young has a unintended to court proceedings for Team USA this summer.
Today, Young was out at his alma mater for the first daylight of a week long, manageable basketball camp at Mitchell but when-door-door Monday, Thaddeus will war Las Vegas back hopes of earning one of twelve spots a propos the U.S. FIBA World Cup team. “It’s a big recognition, a pleasing opportunity. Anytime you can put coarsely that jersey and wear that USA parable and that USA logo upon your chest, it’s just always a satisfying flatter. You should be totally, deeply blessed. I got to grow training camp first and compete for an incline upon the team. Hopefully I go out there and obtain to the front ease and I make the team and then I will be going to the World Games in China,” said Thaddeus .
The 12-man team will be announced on the subject of August 17th.
