Cristiano Ronaldo attended a White House dinner on Tuesday, joining President Donald Trump and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at an event featuring U.S. and Saudi officials as well as prominent business leaders.
The Portuguese football star was seated near the front of the East Room, where Trump acknowledged him during his remarks.
Ronaldo, who plays for Saudi club Al-Nassr, is in Washington during the crown prince’s visit, his first to the White House since 2018.
The athlete greeted attendees as cameras captured the high-profile gathering.
