The aircraft passed over sites including the National Mall, Arlington National Cemetery and Mount Vernon, offering striking aerial views of the city and its historic monuments.
The demonstration forms part of the “Liberté 250” tour, a programme commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence and highlighting the longstanding ties between France and the United States.
Patrouille de France, the French Air and Space Force’s official aerobatic display team, is known for its precision flying displays and regularly represents France at major national and international events.
