Hundreds of people dressed in flowing red outfits gathered on Folkestone Harbour Arm in southeast England to perform the famous choreography from Kate Bush’s 1978 hit ‘Wuthering Heights’.

The performance formed part of ‘The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever 2026’, a global event inspired by Bush’s iconic music video.
First launched in the UK in 2013, the event now takes place in cities around the world. Folkestone organiser Toby Cotton said people enjoy coming together for a shared moment of fun, adding that ‘fun is infectious’.
For many participants, the appeal lies as much in the sense of community as in paying tribute to one of British pop’s most recognisable songs.
