'Black box' from South Korean plane crash is missing last four minutes of data

South Korea’s transport ministry said on Saturday that the black box on the Jeju plane that crashed landed failed to record the last four minutes of the flight.

All but two of the 181 passengers and crew on board the Boeing 737-800 plane died when it crash-landed at Muan airport on December 29th.

Black boxes on planes record the pilots’ conversations in the cockpit as well as some flight data.
